How to get ready for your henna…

  • Make sure that your skin is clean and free of any moisturizers and lotions.

  • Shaving and waxing are recommended; even the finest of hair can be a hindrance in smooth henna application.

  • With that being said, if you don’t prefer to remove hair for any reason, I will try my best to create a good design.

  • Manicures and pedicures should be done in advance, at least two days before the henna application.

  • Wear comfortable clothing.

  • Take a fresh shower and come in with a smile.

Henna Application and Aftercare:

  • Henna will dry in 25-35 minutes.

  • Once it is dry, it can be sealed with medical tape.

  • Henna should be kept on for 10-12 hours.

  • When removing henna, please do not use water.

  • Gently try to pick up dry henna from your other hand.

  • Massaging with olive oil or coconut oil can help loosen up tiny details of henna, making it easier to come off.

  • After removing the henna paste, avoid water strictly for 24 hours.

  • Also, avoid detergents, cleaning chemicals, hand sanitizers, exfoliants, and swimming in chlorinated water, as they can fade the henna faster.
